what waS your last photography related purchase?

A replacement 20ltr Kodak Ektacolour RA4 kit. The best there is for the amateur on the market. The last on was bought 2 years ago but this one had gone up by 50% - ouch! (but still cheaper than any other I can get normally)

A pair of LR44 batteries. Most of my cameras run on these.

Wide strap for my Hasselblad 500C/M and a loupe for my Sinar's ground glass. Bought from APUG'er nanthor, a nice guy, always a pleasure to deal with.

I also got a 100-pack of 4x5 Print Files (from Roberts) and new leatherette for my other Hasselblad (from Camera Leather).

Trying to resist GAS...

Cheers,
Flavio

Kodak rapid color processor model 11, my 3rd one. Needed a couple drops of oil works perfectly 20 bucks.I brought home a bunch of old Kodak chemistry for free from a darkroom clean out unopened quart glass bottle of rapid selenium toner, sweet.
Best Regards Mike

After my RB finally died after years of abuse, I had a hard time to decide which to get for MF.

M7 too expensive, M6 too small negative... I shortly thought about about RB/RZ/Blad ... etc ... too bulky.

So I am waiting for my GL690 with 100 and 150mm lens. Final decision for it have been the interchangeable lenses and the nice enamel older lenses produce

enamel?

ups, sorry, we have a word in German I mis-translated ... how the lens renders ...

A nice Pentacon Six TL may be?

I wondered if it was something like that. but it makes for a nice way of describing it too!

Even in German this word is rarely used, younger generation don't know it anymore.
Even in openthesaurus I couldn't find it.

The standard work for German language, Duden, describes it as

"Lovelines, from eye or ear as pleasantly felt creaminess in the expression of something.."

I presume its 'bokeh'. The out of focus rendering quality of a lens.

'bokeh' is such an ugly word.
from now on, I'm looking for enamel in all my lenses

right, it's so ..artificial, suddenly came up a few years. I remember some discussions about that

Metal B50 Hasselblad lens hood for my 80f2.8.
VALOO lens hood for my 50f3.5 Elmar,

Like someone once said: "It's not "Bouquet", it's Bucket! It was always Bucket until I met you."
But hey, keeping up appearances is vital, isn't it?

It is bucket, indeed.

A bought an old Velbon VS-3 for 30$ (Shipping Inc.). It is in better condition than I had anticipated, after a little cleanup and re-lubrification, it will be perfect.

This one could I could have mentioned in the "What did you fix today?" thread twice this year.

BTW, it fits a lot of the C-series lenses, like the 100, 120, 150 and maybe a couple more.

Cheers,
Flavio

Yes, it fits my 150CT*, but not the 50CT*.

I have both and can confirm. The 40mm C T* also has a dedicated hood.

In fact, this 40mm could be next in my shopping list, although I would prefer an SWC. The price difference is significant, though.

Time will tell. And time, as we all know, is money.

That's the route I followed. A couple of years ago I bought a Distagon 40C T* because I love wide angle medium format. Affordability directed me to that lens. Just recently, I was able to acquire an SWC through a trade right here on APUG. That means I happen to have a spare 40.
