The bellows draw is impressive. Macro images should be amazing.

Yes it's triple extension so just over 40cm bellows draw. The MkIII was usually sold with a 135mm f4.7 Xenar (I already have one).



The back can be used for rear tilt either way or rear swing. Linhof patented this system in 1936 but really it's just a variation of fittings used on many British wood/brass cameras from at least the 1890's.

Here's Scott Sharp's 1950's Gandolfi (I'm sure he won't mind me including his image).



See the brass (plated) fittings attaching the back frame to the camera, they are hinged so can allow some rear tilt & swing. I have similar on a very early Underwood camera as well as on what's left of a LAncaster Instograph both very early 1900s. The Linhof/MPP rods just allow a bit more in the way of additional moements.

The MPP was extremely cheap, I could sell the spares for more than I paid for everything, it looks tatty as the the leather covering on early models never wears well and deteriorates over time, so I'll recover the camera. The Mk VI onwards used a synthetic covering material. I have the Kalart rangefinder which the previous owner removed plus spare rangefinder mirror glass.

The photo's from it will look no diferent to those made with my Wista 45DX, Super Graphic, or Pacemaker Speed & Crown Graphics I've already made a converter board so I can use my Wista/Linhof lens boards (and lenses), It'll mainly get used for LF workshops teaching others how to use LF.

Another reason for buying it (and also using it) is to show just how cheaply people can enter the world of LF photography. I wish I'd bought one 40 years ago Many of us in the UK have recommended MPP's as as good entyry level cameras without using or owning one so I've gone that step further and bought one. I have to say it's actually a superb camera and surprised me. I prefer it to later models.

Fuji B&W pack film for Polaroid 100 series cameras. This is wonderful film.

It's been discontinued since 2013, but note the expiration date: 2017.08

Better condition MF-16 data back for my FM2n. Needed to get my old one refoamed. Turns out, same price for one that was a little cleaner looking and already refoamed. Also received from a buddy a MD-4 that matches the cosmetic condition of my F3P better.

Although not my most recent purchase, it has to qualify as one of the best - the 114mm Zenit-made glass lens for my Lomo Belair X/6-12. It's universes better than the plastic 90mm lens that came with the camera. It now has me hunting for the 90mm Zenit glass lens they made for the Belair. Tack sharp, can actually be focused properly instead of zone focusing, resists flare, has a lot more contrast, no distortion... For $200, it turns my Belair into an almost- Horseman, minus the weight, minus the cost, plus auto-exposure.

I bought a couple of rolls of HP5 from the store round the corner.
Am now also awaiting delivery of a new 4x5 from VDS in Hungary, and a bunch of film (Ektar, Portra 160, FP4 -- all things I can't get from the corner photo store) and chemicals (ID-11, Photo-Flo, Fuji C41 kit, Tetenal RA4 kit) from AG-Photographic in the UK.

Shot one last weekend. I like it, and while 645 sized negs are a bit small, this film will be relegated to the 6x9 and 6x7 cameras.

100 plastic pegs with holes allowing to hang them on a wire in such a way that I can dry prints using very little space. Ordered from China for 6 Euros, arrived after one month. I could not find such pegs in Europe. Works like a charm!

Picked this up at a yearly town "flea market" people can pay a small sum and put up a stand and sell the junk that has not of any more use at home (one man's junk = another's treasure find).
The shops also put their wares outside for 2 glorious festive weekend days.
I paid 10€ after haggling the owner who only wanted 15€. I saw it going for 100€ on a 2ndhand auction site: http://www.2ememain.be/antiquités-art/antique/balances/apothekersweegschaal-210378106.html
All in all a bargain even with the missing weights. Useful to mix my chemicals.
