Right. My panoramic work with cropped 35mm film is 8x18 inches. I'd like to continue in that size, so I'd need an enlarger. I need something for 5x7 negs anyway, so with time I expect to acquire a 5x7 enlarger. Thanks for the tip!!

Yesterday, a roll of Ektar 100 and a couple LCD covers for the off-topic Nikons here at home. Today, got a somewhat rare beast, Nikkormat-wise. Black Nikomat FT. Chrome Nikomat FT bodies can be had fairly easily. Black Nikkormat FT bodies are somewhat uncommon. Today, noticed that Roberts Camera had a black Nikomat FT listed for $33. Offered $24.50. They countered with $31. I countered with $28.50. Got it. Second one I've seen in 3-4 years being sold in the states. Looks to be in pretty decent shape with some minor brassing.

A set of Hewes SS reels from APUG member and I am lining up an SS tank from the local Gumtree. I am determined to process 120 BW from my RZ67 without kinks from film loading. I have been managing to load 35mm to Patterson reels for over 40 years but 120 still gives me grief. About 1 reel in 3 will have some kink marks - usually on the best frame.

More Super Glue (a very cheap bran) I use quite a few 20ml bottles each year when doing repairs and restorations on wood & brass cameras and particularly roller blind shutters, I tend to use Tightbond for actual repairs where wooden parts have split, the super glue I use when wood has dried out and is cracking - it's acting as a wood hardener.

I also bought Shellac sanding sealer and more Methylated spirits (for French polish), the only problem is this Meths has the heaviest purple dye I've seen !

found two unused, unopened Kodak Dataguides in oxfam today for the princely sum of £1.99 each.
darkroom 5th ed. 1974 and professional photoguide 1st ed 1981.

even allowing for the stuff referring to obsolete materials, there's a plethora of clever calculators and whatnot.

plus of course I now have a genuine Kodak grey card (two actually), which of course means I will never make an imperfect exposure again.

I bought a Canon FDn 135mm f2.8 lens it was very inexpensive I already have an 85mm and 100mm for portraits but this will be useful for tight head shots and it fills the gap that I sometimes feel between between my 100mm and 200 mm lenses.

A 28mm f/2 Olympus OM lens.

Are the manual focus OM lenses more expensive than manual Nikon and manual Canon lenses because they can be used on digit*l cameras? I didn't realize the OM mount made the transition to Olympus' digit*l products.

I don't know if that's the case, but there are a lot of adapters available for these "old" lenses to any 3/4 mount d*****l camera.

Bert, do you mean 4/3 digital camera or micro4/3 digital camera?

I think Olympus may make a 4/3 mount digital camera still, but micro4/3 is far far more common, and Panasonic & Olympus have plenty of examples of that in their digital lineup
