what waS your last photography related purchase?

100ft roll of HP5 and 2 rolls of SFX in 120. Getting ready for a vacation.

1kg of leather offcuts, I've just made my first camera handle/strap. I need to make quite a few, but different types of leather are required for some. I'm awaiting some stitching punches.

There is a reason my wife accuses me of being an enabler!
Enjoy your copy of the lens. Mine has served me very well:

I should probably re-title this "Moderator at Work!

I'm always curious about the overall systems that other folks use. in this picture I think I spy a Wheman, and a Manfrotto 405. Is that correct?

You would have to ask the guy in the shorts .
Hint: it isn't me, and it is a Moderator who is known to use big cameras

Oh,. I thought it was you since you posted the picture.

It is true, of course, that neither of us were Moderators when that photo was taken

A fully reconditioned Nikon F2a bought direct from Sover Wong. Yes it was expensive but to be honest it is dream to use and it works exactly like the man claims. Perfectly. I use all the lenses that I had accumulated with my Nikon AF cameras and cannot fault the exposure/shutter/focussing on the F2a body

That's my Canham Light Weight, with a Wollaston meniscus lens, all supported by a Gitzo...

A Canon EOS Elan 7, rolls of HP5, TMax P3200 and FPP / Svema Super Positive, along with a film retriever (because my cat absconded with the one I've had for like 15 years )

Slippery Slope? The Reveni Spot Meter arrives this week and Rolleiflex keeps popping up in my search history.

Throw away the book and buy the Rollei

My original idea was to have less gear, sold a bunch of stuff, gave some away. Then I posted on Gear Enabler Central and now there is a spot meter coming. Since the Reveni offers Zone System mode, I thought it would be a good idea to learn more.

If you must throw away the Reveni, just get on the Rollei, buy one in mint condition

EOS 650 with an EF 50mm f1.8.
"Untested"...bought as a gamble, just wanted the lens....
Lens just needed cleaning, works fine.
Body is EX+++++++ cosmetics.
I will get a battery tomorrow and check it out.
