what waS your last photography related purchase?

I bought some of the Kentmere 120 today, both 100 and 400. I'm curious to try it out.

Got me a Yashica Lynx-14 off Craigslist...

Next purchase is gonna be a blue gel I can slip over the viewfinder to make the rangefinder patch easier to see.

make the rangefinder patch easier to see.

I've got a Petri 7S on which I made a tiny mark on the viewfinder with a Sharpie marker to improve visibility of the rangefinder patch.

I tried sticking a tiny square of masking tape behind the patch, and it helped, but holding up a blue filter to the viewfinder just really enhanced the contrast a lot more for me. I'm a glasses wearer, so that also hurts me, I think.

Broncolor Power Pack Bonanza by Nokton48, on Flickr

More lighting power, five new to me Broncolor packs. Two Primo 2's (1600ws), two Primo 4's (3200ws), one Pulso 2 (top of the line 1600ws). Two Primo 2 Heads complete, made from parts, working great. Also numerous types Pulso style Reflectors, and an Broncolor Octobox 150. POP POP POP Happy Happy. I have a lot of olde Broncolor Blue stuff and this integrates in nicely. $20,000 cost new Swiss lighting for under $500 total. A bonanza

I finally got an copy of 'Adams's Examples, The Making of 40 Photographs' (green cover), out of curiosity as I read quite a lot about it over here...
Interesting to reed about his evolution in "previsualization".

The Bronica Model E 6x4.5 back arrived today, lol, I almost sent it back because I thought it was broken. On The 6x6 back there’s a small button that you press to switch from 12 to 24 (120 to 220) exposure and on the 6x4.5 back the button slides. I thought the button was frozen or maybe broken and not returning. It’s also a little confusing because instead of switching between 120 and 220 which would be 16 vs. 32 exposures you have S and F. You shoot in S regards of whether you have loaded 120 or 220 and at the end of the roll switch to F to complete siding the roll onto the take up spool. Not much info on the Internet about these backs and ironically once I figured it out I reread the instructions and it actually says to slide the button up. Guess I should learn how to read an instruction manual.

I've been meaning to sell my collection of Canon EF lenses left from my DSLR years. Instead, I gave up and purchased a film body instead. I am surprised by how much I enjoy shooting with my fresh-from-Japan Canon EOS 1v. One nice benefit I somehow ignored was the low-light capability enhanced by the image-stabilized lenses. I can now use film for indoor shooting without flash!

I just picked up a LPL 4550XL dichroic enlarger. It had the power supply, the universal masking plate, a lens board and the fine focus extension rod/cable. The real bonus was when the seller handed me a 16x20 easel. I didn't know he even had that. If you've been watching the prices for 4-blade easels, you know what I mean. It made the whole purchase that much better.

Several 120 rolls of Rollei RPX 25. I forgot I ordered some! What attracted me to it was its extended red sensitivity way out to 750nm.

Selenium toner, archival binders, sepia toner, liquid emulsion, 300g paper, brushes, sodium thiosulfate pentahydrate, water bath heater.

Longtime finding my bar doors Summitar lens shade more than an annoyance, I finally got a Summitar to Series 6 adapter and am waiting for delivery of Tiffen Series 6 lens shade.

I just ordered 8 15mm bayonet filters for the rear of the Nikon f/2.8 16mm AF Fisheye ens, but I do not have any good way to store and carry those filters. Any suggests or recommendations will be appreciated.

I think that a single page of a PrintFile slide holder sheet might work.
