I bought a very clean restored Yashica D from a friend. I say restored because it had a CLA from Mark Hama and then my friend touched up some of the paint and cut his own replacement leatherette. It looks like a brand new camera and works like one too.

It’s been almost a year since I had a proper MF camera and I for one am more than happy with Yashica TLR’s.

Absolutely. I've done only 30x40cm prints from Tri-X but I'm so love in grain.

My Fotoimpex order from few days ago: 5x7" Ilford V paper, ID-11, Foma Excel to replace my faulty Xtol.

I also ordered from Fotoimpex! I agree on the Foma film, it's the only 5x4 I can afford and I love to shoot it at 50 iso and develop it in HC-110

I bought a left hand grip for my RB67. Since I recently got a prism and metered chimney viewfinder (both of which add some weight compared to the WLF), a little help in handling the camera off tripod will be welcome. Clever device, too -- the trigger actuates the body release via a lever, and there's also a port for a cable release that I presume you'd normally run to the lens shutter for mirror prefire operation (though why you'd use that with a grip on, implying off tripod, I don't know).

I finally broke down and spent $15 on a Nikon AR-2. It was either that or $20 for an off brand Leica nipple which seems absurd, so I figured the Nikon version with attached locking cable release would be better. Plus it will work on my Yashica D which is nice.

Yard sale this morning:
Two Maxxum 7000 bodies, each with 50/1.7 plus one 70-210 "beercan"

I just checked them out and cleaned them up. Both bodies work and the lenses are all clean and working.

Four cold shoes for making speed light bars for dual or quad use with umbrellas/soft boxes/bare lighting, etc.

The largest oval reflector with changeable panels, Newer offers on Amazon, a camera snake that uses your phone as the screen.

A S type circular speedlight/ flash holder for light stands, a watchmakers whisker oiler, and pointed cotton swabs on wood sticks for CLAs.

Also, the Hasselblad C parts camera arrived this week, but this was basicaly a donation so I can practice repairs, with the small 'cost' more in line with a shipping charge.

Fresh chemistry is next.

Just picked up a 2021 Ansel Adams calendar. With Covid we have received any of the free calendars that we get in a “normal” year. So I figured if I have to by one it ought to be an Ansel Adams.

Orange, I have the 35mm and 80mm. I am comfortable with manual settings.

Latest is a belt bag that holds four 4x5 film holders (working on being able to take my Graphic View more than a hundred yards from the car), and a scanner adapter to put 110 and Minolta 16 format film on my Epson 8470. Should get close to 8 megapixel.

That's interesting because I would also like to start carrying my large format around to take street portraits and I never know where to put the holders. Would you mind telling us pleaae what kind of bag it is(even better if you have the link to shop where you got it from)?
