what waS your last photography related purchase?

A Kodak Pocket Instamatic 40 -- for the Kalimar Strobe-a-Flash included with it, to go on my Pocket Instamatic 60. This is a pretty basic fixed-power ('70s consumer tech) strobe, special mainly because it mounts on the tripod socket of the correct family of Pocket Instamatic cameras, and triggers from the Magicube socket. I knew there had to be such a device...

PS save your old Ilford film boxes, the ones with white flaps on both ends. These boxes, have development times for non Ilford developers like XTOL and Rodinal.

I am glad to see that you brought the bricks to keep them from the hoarders. Now put them in the freeze until you have time to shoot all that one roll at a time.

I'll leave a couple rolls in the fridge just in case it doesn't rain this weekend. The rest will go in the freezer... With all my other bricks and sheet film!

And I can't forget the Mamiya 6 I bought but can't get my hands on as it's sitting at my sister in law's in Japan! Photo by my sister in law.

And according to my wife, this was my last photographic purchase!

... for a while, anyway... Heh heh heh.

Oh, I always had that camera. You just do not remember it, dear.

Now why didn't I think of that??

It doesn't work if they ship to the house. You need an alternate pickup location -- and a way to dispose of packaging materials.

Before covid, I had items sent to Blaine, WA, just over the border...

HC-110 is great, that’s all I used before I mixed up my current batch of obsidian Aqua.

A black DE-1 for my black F2 because the “tested and working” DP-1 was actually dead. I also ordered a Peak Design Leash.

A pair of Viltrox VL-192T Bi-Color LED Panels -- yes, they are overkill, but B&H had them on sale and I'm tired of wrestling larger softboxes into place for small projects. (Most notably including Zoom meetings! )

mat board and foam core for a camera to be made, ink and Japanese salt for prints
