what waS your last photography related purchase?

Just got another canonet 28 at a flea market, cleaned it and replaced light seals yesterday.

EDIT: and I just bought 4 Tmax 400 films. I did not used it for some time, but I do have some Tmax developer at home - so why not. I like all films, and all developers .

Bought a Baby Rollei in APUG classifieds. Needs a bit of work but it's too gosh-darn cute. And it makes a 6x6 Rolleicord look like a hulking beast.

A Minolta SRT101 with an MC Rokkor-PG 50mm f1.4 lens for £4.50 from a charity shop a week ago.

Am picking up a fairly large lot of darkroom gear from someone on the East King County Freecycle group. Not sure when I'll set it up, but, it'll be nice to have.

What a sweetie! You'll really like those superslides, if you can find the mounts! I have a Komaflex S, a 127 SLR, but it needs shutter work, alas. Enjoy the Baby Rollei!

I just received a Fujinon W 5.6/180 lens from seller musashi-photo on eBay. This lens is cleaner than described. There are absolutely no marks on the glass when he described a few. There isn't even any dust inside, it's the cleanest used lens I've ever seen, and for only $129 postage paid from Japan.

A pound of roasted coffee beans from John here.

Instant coffee

Going to be a couple things tom'w. Paying off the overhaul of my F, then picking up a nice 135/3.5 Nikkor-QC pre-AI for $30+tax...

Olympus OM reverse ring.

That caffenol C-L...hmmm....

I developed some film in caffenol for the first time in perhaps 18 months the other day. I'd forgotten what beautiful negatives it makes with the right film. Or perhaps I've learned to shoot and develop better in that time. Or maybe both.

Two 16x20 frames, and some classic white cotton rag for mounting and window-mats.

I bought an old Bergheil camera with 135mm Heliar. The seller didn't mention the missing ground glass nor the fog in both sets of lens elements. The photos didn't reveal these defects. I contacted the seller who replied, "It's an old camera so you should expect problems like that". I replied back, "No, things like this should be revealed in the listing". He said he'd make me a good deal on something else they're selling.

1. I'm not inclined to buy anything else from him/her.
2. Sending the camera back overseas will cost as much as servicing the lens and buying a cheap generic GG.

I guess I'll just leave a negative feedback and move on.

Contact eBay, often they will refund your money without incurring shipping costs or a resolution with the seller.

Thanks, Stone, but I don't want a full refund. I don't think the seller was actually trying to rip me off... just not savvy. I can have the lens serviced for a reasonable fee and can buy a GG for not too much. Had I gotten a good deal I'd just let it go.

Hasselblad 500c! I've wanted a Hasslblad for a few years now. Sold my Rollei to get it.
