The last camera I used was my new to me 1956 Argus C44 with the Contagion 50mm F=2.8. I shot a roll of Ilford FP4+ in it this afternoon to test it out, everything looks good so far. I've heard surprisingly good things about this lens so I guess we'll see after the negs dry.

On Saturday, during some wandering in upstate Pennsylvania I shot 1 + 7/12 rolls of 400TX in my Yashica 124G. The finished roll, developed in HC110 1+63 is hanging to dry as I e-speak. I hope to find something interesting for the remaining frames in the next day or two.

Yashicamat 124, it's had its last use this year as it prefers living in Turkey . We flew back from Northern Cyprus yesterday and the films, Delta 100, will get processed later this week after I return to th UK.

The films inc my 5x4 HP5 were scanned twice leaving the UK, twice in Istanbul, twice in Izmir and I expect the same on my return, twice so far leaving Cyprus this morning.

Hopefully some great shots, roaming Ancient Greek/Roman ruins in the high 30 degree C's, watching the tourists come and go fleetingly was hot work to say the least . Especially using LF as well as MF.

Hasselblad 500c/m w/80mm. Shot a roll of FP4+, this am, of the leaves that have fallen off the trees in front of my townhouse. Removed film from the A12, placed it in a Ziplock and stuck it a second ziplock with its friends while it awaits development sometime in the next few weeks...

I'm not the greatest fan of the LX, but went on a week's canal narrowboat holiday in South Wales. The Brecon and Abergavenny Canal is small and winding, and despite the fact that the speed of the boat is typically only a couple of mph, I've missed a lot of shots on previous trips or messed up the exposures as things actually change quite quickly and sometimes I need to shoot one-handed whilst also handling the tiller. This time, instead of my normally preferred Pentax KX, MX, etc. I used the LX exclusively for the slides I shot. With few exceptions, I just left it on 'automatic' and let the electronics get on with it.
The results were very pleasing. Shooting from the bottom of empty locks with a combination of gloomy lock, bright sky above and boat somewhere in between, the camera did as well as I could have done and I'd have probably been unable to take most of the one-handed shots as it takes a lot of concentration to keep the 48ft boat in the right place.
Even on stretches of the canal with contrasty lighting conditions, the technology sorted the exposure out very well and coped admirably with some time exposures running into 10+ seconds.
What drove me up the wall was the LX's 'clever' strap lugs, which allow the ends of the strap to rotate 360 degs, forever resulting in a twisted strap that required untangling. I think those lugs are a solution looking for a problem!

developed my photos from colorado, portra 400 developed in unicolor C41 kit, Ilford PAN F 50 developed in rodinal and some HP5 developed in DDX

Sounds nice - maybe get someone to help navigate while you can concentrate solely on photos?

The front mounted lugs are my only complaint with the LX and why I'd never own one. I can't hold that thing.

The last small film camera that I used was a Rolleiflex 3.5 with 120 T-Max 400. The last large film camera that I used was a Deardorff 8x10 with a few sheets of Impossible Project instant B&W film.

Earlier today I shot a roll of Tri-X in my Fed 5 with the Industar 61 55mm 2.8 lens. I developed it for 15 minutes in HC-110 Dilution H (1+63). It was pretty chilly out today and kind of windy, negatives look good though.

I just received two cameras in the mail. One is a 1938 Agfa Jsolette complete with a premium, uncoated, Solinar 85/4.5 lens. I loaded a roll of TriX to put it through its paces. So far all my shots have been made using Sunny 16 and scale focusing, as intended originally.

The second was a very nice, but rather grimy looking. 1960s something Pentax SV complete with a working Pentax clip on meter. I have loaded a roll of hand rolled TMax 100 to put it through its paces.

Mundane household duties such as laundry have taken priority today so no picture taking. Besides, it has been raining most of the day. Hopefully tomorrow will be a trifle nicer. Either that or I'll roll out the rain gear.

So after taking the FED 5 out Saturday and finding out the RF needed recalibrated I made an attempt at that yesterday. It seems to have worked out pretty darn good, I shot a roll of Ilford FP4+ and developed for 11 mins in HC-110 dilution H (1+63). I took shots at minimum focus at f2.8, 4, and 5.6, and did the same at about mid focus, and infinity, all came out sharp and well focused.

3 rolls of rollei retro 400s, shot at 160. 1 roll developed in pyrocat-MC the other 2 in beutler. shot in a nikon fm3 with a newly found in my dads old telescope lens box, brand new still in bubble wrap 50mm 1.8 series e lens second generation (with chrome focus ring). a great hiking set up. gotta say, this film rocks. now that tmax 400 bulk rolls are 3 times the cost of RR400s Ive moved to this film and actually like it better.

The weirdest thing about this camera (just my copy?) is the 'bokeh' is like a motion blur, I've never seen that before.

Kodak Brownie Hawkeye, Arista.EDU 100 (rerolled on 620 spool), Dektol 2 minutes. Turned out a little darker than desired. Will try d76 on next roll.

I like the distortion in the out-of-focus areas. It adds character.
