Hi,
I'm cleaning out "my closet" and some cameras will have to go.
I have a Mamiya/sekor 1000 DTL and a Mamiya MSX500. I haven't used either and want to keep just one of these cameras to shoot with. Which one is best to keep?

I also have a Mamiya/Sekor Auto 50/2 lens (No.219965) and a Mamiya/Sekor Auto SX 55/1.8 lens (No.64495). I only need one lens with the body, so which one?

I have no knowledge or experience with the SLR range of Mamiya, but I do love my TLR C330f so I want to keep one SLR (for fun).

Thanks, Bert from Holland

If the cameras are in equivalent condition, then keep the 1000 DTL. The extra faster shutter speed can be an advantage sometimes.

I used a 1000DTL for several years way back when. I found it to be a very dependable shooter.

I suggest you keep it and its lens and sell the other, with the caveat that I have no experience with the MSX500.
