I don't know if this is the right spot to post this but...

I couple months ago, my camera store sold me a 100ft roll of 6/02 expired 70mm portra 160nc for $5. My question is, what can I feasibly do with it? I don't know anything about this film, or if getting a camera is an option. Maybe I could resell it instead...?

Perforated or unperforated?

If perforated it could be used in a Hasselblad 70mm back, if unperforated it could be rolled onto 116 or 616 backing paper and used in cameras in those formats.

If unperforated, and you don't plan on using it, I may be interested.

It might be excellent for internegatives.

I'm not sure if it perforated or not. there's no indication on the tin or box.

There a couple of guys on RFF who would gladly buy your 70mm film. Search for the 70mm film thread.

I'm always on the lookout for this stuff!

I have a 70mm to 120 slitter. I slit and roll it in the dark.

I'll write out what's on the front of the box:

70mm x 100 ft/ 30.5 m
sp474s
process before 06/2002
2755 1322 0131
estar base
cat 835 1421
Any chance that should be sp473s? That would make it un-perforated.

The spec SP474 means that the film is unperforated, and is in a #10 spool (this is a flanged spool, square hole on one side, round on the other).

Mr. Bill would be extremely likely to know!
