A friend owns a business that puts on casino nights for organizations and also he does poker cruises. He has all the professional tables, etc you will find in a casino. He asked me to come out and shoot his tables and perhaps a few other things. I'm going to go to his event on saturday before the thing starts. All of the equipment will be set up and ready to shoot before the crowd arrives.
He says it should take about an hour.

Here's the thing: I don't know what to charge him.
Please forgive me, but I will shoot digitally. I know, I know, this is APUG. Hey, I'm a film guy. I'm an alt. process guy. Look at my website. Cut me some slack please.

Can anyone suggest an appropriate charge for this? I think it will involve doing the shoot and providing a number of images on CD.
I will charge a "sitting fee" (any suggestions as to how much?), but beyond that, should I charge by the image, or just another flat fee for the CD? What about hardcopies?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve

You need to charge for your time first. But most important, what is going to be the use of these photographs ? Advertising ? With that in mind, you can set a value and a price.
Best,
Guillaume
