What size push-on cap would fit the 38/4.5 biogon? Or maybe other types because the push-on ones are quite expensive. Thanks

The Hasselblad B60 lens cap works well.

what type of swc? for the c type swc, the one that you showed will not fit! why not a (not genuine) hood and a 86mm cap? the ones from heavystar in the bay are well made and although the hood has not a screw to mount 86mm filters (that would be nice!) the hood fits and holds to the grooves in the hood.

Otherwise you need a slip on cap for 63mm (inner filter diameter) that hasselblad made (i think for 38mm, 50mm and 60mm), the real diameter is like 69mm.

If it is the lens without the ridges for a lens hood, I would make one myself from leather, I made 2 sets front and rear for two old Rodenstock Repro lenses quite big they are.
Let me know if you want a pic to give you an idea...

For Pre T* try the B50 lens cap.

Bayonet 50 and 60 won´t work on swc, they have a system that hasselblad (and leica) used of a retainer ring with screwless filters of around 63mm, but the screw itself is 67mm
