I'm amazed that most people don't seem to have any favorites galleries. Or are they not for view, for fear of offending? It's been one of the most enjoyable aspects of apug yet for me, and I would think a great way to see what people gravitate to. Please visit mine if you'd like some inspiration. I look at these everyday, and go back into the galleries of their creators. There's so much, and things slip by so easily. I encourage you to use MY FAVORITES. I find mine to be electrifying.

I tend to forget to favourite stuff on here. I rarely do so on flickr too. Not sure why, I guess because I take it for granted that I can always go find that image again if I use the forum search.

There's too many images in the world for that. I forget. I just wish people could see all the ones I chose. I feel like a proud gallery owner. The thing only shows 24 from the gallery profile, but I'm up to 60 on my own clicker thingy.

Until a day or two ago I had ignored this function. When I have time I will travel through the gallery and create my own favourite gallery.

I also had forgotten about this feature. What a great idea! Just added a couple to my favorites.

Thanks for the heads-up Alden.

I use favourites to remind me of pictures I find interesting for one reason or another. Sometimes it's an expression, sometimes a compositional thing, or lighting or whatever. They're rarely actually "favourites" though - many of my favourite photos on APUG aren't actually in my favourites section!

Like JD Callow, I too have ignored this function. In fact, to be honest, I didn't even know it existed.

Now that I do, I'm not sure that it will matter, but thank you, Alden, for bringing it to my intention.

I add favorites occassionally when an image draws my interest enough for me to leave a comment, I always add it. I think I have one of Alden's in there. One of the weather pics form a week or so ago. Great stuff.
