For some reason, I can't find any discussion regarding the CHUZHAO cameras on this FORUM.

Am I missing something -- or is this something to miss?

Looks funky & fun, with even less exposure controls than a Holga.

Quotes from the review linked below:

"This isn’t really a digital TLR, though. A true TLR uses two lenses, the lower one to shoot the picture on film, the upper one to reflect its image, via an angled mirror, up to a focusing screen under a hood on top of the body. The Chuzhao’s upper ‘lens’ does nothing...

Unlike a true TLR, whose mirror laterally reverses the viewfinder image, the Chuzhao’s preview image is correctly orientated...

Shooting is entirely automatic, with no indication of what shutter speeds or ISOs are being selected, and no record of them in the image files’ EXIF data, either..."

"Details, details. We don't need no stinkin' details".

Can you guess that I watched "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre" last week?

It generated a modest flurry of activity on Rangefinderforum earlier this year - when it was available for ~30 USD via AliExpress. I considered adding one to my last pre-tariff AE order, but thought maybe I already had too many lo-fi toy cameras.

I own one. Okay for the low price. The image quality could be worse. But now it sits always on my shelf. I like to shoot film much more.

They're still for sale for $30, and that quality is pretty good!!!
