I have this Zeiss Tessar 50mm f/2.8 lying around (see attached pictures). However, I don't know what mount this is for. According to http://vintage-camera-lenses.com/carl-zeiss-jena-tessar-50mm-2-8/ this lens was produced with the following mounts:
  • M42 / Pentax mount
  • Exa / Exakta mount
  • Zeiss Ikon Bayonett Mount (BM mount)
  • Praktina mount
  • Altix-N mount
Looking at pictures of other lenses with those mounts, it doesn't seem to be any of these? (However, I'm not really familiar with most of these mounts, so I might be wrong). Thanks for helping me out!

Update: I think it's an Altix mount

I now have had another look around the internet, and, looking at http://www.ebay.de/itm/Carl-Zeiss-T...ix-Bajonett-/262186843437?hash=item3d0b8dbd2d it seems to me that this is an Altix mount (the trick seems to be googling for "altix mount" rather than "altix-n mount"...)

Can anyone confirm this?

Bonus question in case it is the Altix mount: Does anyone know an affordable adapter to any more common mount - doesn't really matter which one? I have seen there quite expensive adapters here http://www.altix-adapter.de/altix.html and there are some people doing conversions of such lenses, but I don't want to irreversible change the lens.

To me it seems to be the Praktina breech lock mount which is very similar to the Pentacon Six mount, only the diameter is different.

The Praktina breech lock ring cut-outs seem to be longer than those wings. (Though that could be done to ease use.)

As I said, "seems", and "maybe because of".
It can be hard to be precice on defining a mount just on the monitor, even if one would try to work with a caliper.

On the other hand: how many mounts are there that have a breech lock ring at the camera-side?
And that this lens needs such seems obvious. ("seems" again...)
