What model is this 8X10 w/o tags?

I have this 8X10 camera and although it is on an Ansco tripod, the metal trim and design look like the camera is Kodak (late 20s/early 30s?)

Any info on this camera is appreciated! Thanks ; )

It's a Kodak 2D to the tee, I'm refinishing one right now, got the body finish off, it was cruddy, and will be working on the hardware next. The one I have has been sitting around for a long time but has an original leather bellows that's in great condition. Noting was missing on my and it looks like this one is complete also, they clean up very nicely.

Thanks, Curt! From looking at the gg, there seems to be some issue with the image registering off to one side, although the camera assembly is tight overall. There are also some points along the focus track that skip, but not too bad. The one track that has a noticable problem is the lens rise. There is an area where the lens falls without grabbing, not to the end of the run, but needs attention. The image registering to one side is my biggest concern.

If one side of the front standard skips a gear tooth, it can swing the front so it is no longer parallel to the back. With a limited coverage lens, this could move the image circle off-center.
Sounds like it needs a good overhaul.

ic-racer, thanks. I will try some 'gear shifts' (without grinding them!) and see if the image moves, or only changes focus across the gg.

Curt: I think the only thing missing is the extension rails, I can see the guide holes on the base where that piece would go.

I took another look, viewing a much more distant scene, and with a little rear adjustment, it actually looks pretty sharp all around. I think I was seeing uneven falloff around the sides of the gg, but with a wider and brighter scene, I can see alot more. Thanks for all of your help with the initial approach. I think its time to get some chemicals and see how it goes.
