This is a really good question. It is definitely a high impact material. It's very stable doesn't warp or bow when warm. The holders have a smooth surface, My guess would be a blend of some sort of styrenic and possible polycarbonate. High Impact polystrene, ABS. Doesn't look like it has a significant amount of glass fiber or you would be able to see it. Doesn't mean it's not filled with glass or mineral. The darkslides almost look like a old thermoset like Bakelite or melamine filled with some sort of mineral or fiber. It's not an ordinary plastic.
Is there still NEW Fidelity and Lisco film holder being manufactured?
