What is your latest mistake?

I had cleaned out my NOVA deep tank processor and left it for a while when I was decorating the darkroom. Three days ago I mixed up a new batch of Ektacolor RA4, stop bath and bleach. I have a note on my baseboard to remind me of the starting filtration so I dialed in the figures. My first two test strips were well off, and predominantly yellow so I increased the yellow and tried again, some improvement. then I increased it again and risked making a 10x8 and it was still yellow, shadows deep blue and the sky was pink. I tried another print after fiddling with the filtration again. Still the colours were all over the place!

THEN I found I had transposed the yellow filtration for the Magenta and vice versa. A beginners error, not one that should have happened by someone with over 20 years of colour printing. Still we are all able learn.

In the dark I removed a partially used cassette of film (I don't wait until all are shot) and promptly dropped the still loaded cassette into a hypo solution. Using quick speed, I retrieved the (manually loaded) cassette, opened it (of course, in the dark) and found, to my amazement, that the film was still dry. I removed the film, stored it safely, then turned on the room lights and washed that cassette thoroughly, Then I put it into the oven (pilot light) so that the felt would dry.

I wasn't careful enough when taping the end of the film to the spindle when loading a cassette. After shooting the roll, it disconnected and wouldn't rewind.

I use 2 strips of tape to prevent this but every once in awhile that is not enough. Then comes the decision if the photos are worth while to save until I get to my darkroom. Sometimes the take up spool is wrapped very tightly to open my camera and fix it without losing a lot of photos.

Reloaded a 120 roll into the brownie on hot hot sunny high-noon beach (see image of my Niece on the beach). I know what pre-flashed film looks like. Only if I could make these mistakes on purpose.

I use a long strip of tape to attach to one slide of the film, then wrap the tape around the spool and attach it to the other side of the film.

Yup, same here. I must have not have used enough tape.
