What is this yellow stain on the edge of my film?

I developed a roll of Ilford Ortho plus.

Stand developing for an hour with Rodinal, I agitated with some white vinegar stop bath for a few minutes and agitated with fix for 3 minutes... Same like I did last time and it was successful, although I think I might have kept the fix a bit longer last time...

Should I put it back and fix more? Or this is something else?
Otherwise negatives seem to be ok...

Hi,

looks like the fix didn't do it's job there. Too little volume?
Give it another fixing.

Thanks for your quick reply, I went fixing in the meantime as I figured I have nothing to lose

I'm just wondering if anything bad should happen to the negatives because they were kept barely fixed in the light?

And you will most likely discover that if any of those sections were in the image areas, that those areas are now clear.
They usually are a sign that parts of the film were pushed up against something solid - either more film or the reels themselves - and no chemical was able to get to them. That will most likely mean that those areas didn't get any development, before they didn't get fixed. So when you re-fix the film (after loosening it) you fix away any un-developed latent image there.
Sometimes that contact can happen sfter development, and before fixing, but that is rare.

I didn't spot any stains on the images themselves, so hopefully it developed right... I'll look in the morning when it dries.
