All sorts of things are actually offered on eBay ! That's well known and also very practical.
But sometimes there are things there
that don't actually exist......?

What is the nastiest looking camera you have seen ? Can anyone remember it ?

This one is my personal top one favourite :

The ugliest camera I know........ actually a pretty bad joke ... !

....try to remember..........there was something that looked like.... ?

Anything made by "Ouyama" company, no contest.

I'm not going to defend Ouyama, but they do make cameras. The ones I've seen are NOT fake cameras -- although they try to be someone else camera, like Canon or Olympus.

They are really cheap -- optically and mechanically -- but they work, at least for a while. I had one that had electronic film advance -- which worked -- and LOTS of lead weights inside to make you think you had something substantial. The cheap handle flash also had weights inside, but it worked too!. I have no idea if the WHITE Leica is a fake camera or not, but all the cameras from SHARAN actually work -- they ought to, for the $200+ prices -- even though lots of them, I suppose, are given away as Christmas GAG gifts.

btw - it's all a matter of taste !

This here is looking real great for my taste :

and this here is my personal top 2 favourite of the ugliest camera ever seen :

yup ...xkaes ... it is not said that these cameras are NOT
reliable,
it is not said that these cameras are NOT cheap, also it is not said that these cameras have NOT a good function, .... and if this is your business I wish you
sinceerely continued success [ same procedure with other dealers who sell gold Leicas made by zorki]

but seriously xkaes ....... seriously please : It is said that these cameras are NOT PRETTY AS SO PRETTY !

......you disagree with something.............?

Sometimes these are one and the same. Sometimes not. I've used some great cameras that were pretty ugly, and seen some great looking cameras that were only skin deep.

I should receive a Mini Diana by the weekend. I'll let you know where it falls on these two continua. And, no, I'm not in the business of selling anything. It's just that cheap cameras have a way of finding me, but more often than not they are actually good cameras.

.....of course, as with many other things, it is allways a question of perspective, a question of ones own point of view. But yes xkaes - you just described it correctly.... !

Huss what happened to you ?

I think you ended up in the wrong thread. This is about ugly cameras..... Are you lost...?

I like the olive colored Leica best while the blue one is also
great. The golden lens doesn't really go together - but it still
has the subtle charm of 18 karat gold.
The red one is a Russian replica (I would gues) with this great
"snapshot skopar" is not the worst choise either.

And what are you planning with the M10? It looks a bit battered!
It should soon get sandblasted and will get a new finish.

Actually it was a Nikon F2 in it's former life but after being cooked in an accidental laboratory fire for 2 hours it was pretty hideous never mind nasty.

Wow, that’s so sad, can you imagine how beautiful that camera would’ve been with red instead of white.

I assume you must think that we are all hard of hearing and in the next room, otherwise you wouldn't be SHOUTING with your thread title.
And as for the Omega 120, context is important.
That light turquoise background is entirely inappropriate - something industrial/"steam punkish" would make the camera look much more at home.

Having owned and enjoyed both a Koni-Omega and a relatively classic Omega enlarger, it doesn't bother me a bit!

Personally for me personally the nastiest part of the white/gold camera is the fake WWII German military engraving, and the only thing nastier might be a real WWII German military engraving or one of those NKVD FEDs. Yuck.
