In a recent thread regarding exposure in strobes for portraits, it was suggested that Polaroids could be used as quick proofs in setting up more complex lighting situations. I have a NPC back for my Hassey but can't find any film on B&H. I think the back takes 4x5 film. Use exclusively B&W in either 100 or 400.

If your back fits a hasselblad, then it it takes 3.25 x 4.25" pack film, not 4x5. Since Polaroid is no longer, look for Fuji instant film. (B&H sells, among others). If you are limiting yourself to black and white, your choices are either 100 asa or 3000 asa.

Perhaps others can chime in - I can't recall if Fuji plans to discontinue one of the b/w instant films in this size. (I might be confusing it with the 4x5). I've used both with great results.

Fuji says that they are committed to Polaroid-size film as long as demand remains high. They currently make a 100 ASA instant color film and a 3,000 ASA B&W instant film in Polaroid size. The 100 ASA B&W instant film in Polaroid size was recently discontinued.
