What Home Depot or Lowes table are you using for your Beseler 4x5?

Anyone have a ___ something? from Home Depot or Lowes that you bought to put your Beseler 4x5 enlarger on?
I'm not in a McGuyver mood. Want something I can go to Home Depot, buy, and prop in my garage, put my Beseler on it, done!

I'm using a Sears Craftsman work bench with storage below. One door & 3 drawers, one shallow, two deep. I put pegboard on the back & should put it next to the shelf to keep stuff from migrating. It's about 5' X 24-30"

Mine sits on an old printer table - one of those now-useless things that had a slit in the top to let you put fan fold paper underneath and feed it up to your dot matrix printer... It has a couple of shelves underneath, and was free!

Many years ago an avid amatuer furniture making friend of mine built a custom enlarging table for me at a VERY modest price. It currently holds both my Beseler 4x5 and my Leitz Focomat V35. It has many useful drawers and a large storage bin (w/door) on one side. Sorry, this doesn't answer your inquiry, but maybe you or a friend could build something to your specifications.

If you're near an IKEA, I've got mine sitting on a set of IVAR shelves, the deep, low set. They're quite cheap, easy to assemble, and hold a lot of weight. And if you play it right, you've got yourself a Beseler Adjus-Table of sorts with it for a lot less money, as the shelves can be positioned to different heights.

Stores going out of business sometimes have really heavy, sturdy cabinets. My wife nabbed one that weighed a ton and came with drawers - all I had to do was put a thick piece of plywood on top and it was good to go.

You could try wall mounting w/ the beseler wall mount or a diy job.

I tried the $49 folding table from Office Depot thing. Even though it weighs a bunch, metal frame and particle board, it's too flimsy to properly support a D2, having a tendency to allow vibrations and it rocks gently back and forth at the slightest touch. I finally found a used 5' work bench with a 1.25" thick MDF top covered with wood grain masonite and metal sides and metal back support. A very solid unit. Then I created a simple aluminum bracket and bolted the top of the enlarger to the wall for more support.

Anything from HD etc you'll have to screw together. All I did was pick some lumber. Have them cut it. Then I screwed it together. Not much different then flat pack really. Except I figured out the sizes.

Costco has a work bench on square tube steel legs. Legs can be leveled.
