What happened to this negative?

This is Acros 100 shot at 100 with my RB67. I processed it in HC110 1+50 for 8 min.
Indicator stop bath for 45 sec. and fixed it in Kodak professional powder fixer.
The entire roll has this blotchy look along the edges.
Final rinse with a 3-4 drops of Photo flow 200

That's a problem with agitation and the film not being immersed in the developer properly. Can't say more without knowing what tank/method of processing was used.

I used a handheld tank with one 120 reel. 30 sec inversion at first then 3 inversions every 30 sec. This is the method I have always used. The developer was mixed fresh and I always mix it freash and do "one shot"

Could this be caused by weak fixer???

That's not just Photoflo residue is it? Is it permanent or can you rinse it off? Try re-fixing?

Well you have denser marks at the edges so yes it could be poor fixing but whatever there's an agitation issue as well.

Powdered fixer are usually Sodium thiosulphate based (Kodak's is) so need significantly longer fixing times 5-10 minutes according to Kodak and mustn't be used too dilute, they aren't really recommended any longer for most modern films as they cope less well with the high Iodide levels in films compared to Ammonium Thiosulphate fixers and exhaust more quickly.

Try refixing the negatives in fresh fixer, you might just be lucky.
