This Omega D2 carrier was marked "127", but that is incorrect.
However, I can't for the life of me find out what it's for.
Any ideas, anyone?

A 127 film strip is too wide, doesn't fit between the pegs.
The image space is 1 1/8" x 1 1/8" (2.8 x 2.8mm).
The spacing between the pegs is 1 7/16" lengthwise and 15/16" wide.
35mm film fits between the pegs, but one side (only) of the image space includes rebate with perforations.
126 is slightly smaller, at 0.9" square (23mm).

Thanks!
Michael T.

On second look, I'd agree with 126; it has the offset for the perforations on one side of the aperture.

Agree with Kino. Looks like the square Kodak Instamatic format.

You could use it to print Galen Rowell's vintage negatives because he started out shooting Instamatic.
