Fuji Astia 100 in 120 is one of my temporarilly favorites - I still wonder about the natural pale colors.
It is a good choice for different motives.
You got a collor-look (different to saturated colors) wich might be good in use to a modest matter-of-fact-style.
Herefore : architecture,fashion but also
one landscape.
It is no need to use Velvia50 "ever" on
landscape - by the time.
The film I would like to have it so much
is also indeed :

Fujichrome Fortia SP - only avaible as 135 and 120.

This was a re-released Limited Edition
slide film at ISO50 from Fuji in 2007 !
with extremly HIGH COLOR SATURATION.
(apparently higher that velvia50) !!!

Well - total different than Astia100 - but
very exotic of cause. (sold out within a few month )

Two rolls and 14 frames of E100VS down at Steveston this am, with one of my favorite combinations: An M6 with a 50mm Summicron. A very productive and satisfying morning that could only have been made more so had I not run out of film (I finished the trip shooting a dozen or so pictures with my iPhone... (sigh).

1x sensia 100 expired in 2005... looks very good, can't find any issues despite its age.
1x fresh velvia 100 but i can't say i liked it very much, strange color palette and contrast.
1x provia 400x expired in march 2015, turned out very nice!

a sample from the 12-year-past-expiration-date sensia, 35mm of course. I guess when the datasheet says it keeps well over extended periods of time, they mean it!

A roll of fresh Ilford Delta 400 plus a roll of expired Provia 400X in the Mamiya 6 locally.
Six rolls of Portra 400 in the Hasselblad 503 in Barcelona.
A couple of rolls of Tri-X in the M2, also in BCN.

Good old Kodacolour Gold 200 - recently got my Spotmatic F back from Eric Hendrickson, all tuned up and ready to go, and took it out today with a 50/4 S-M-C Macro as a walkaround lens. The perfect choice for the lens, which goes to f/22 for the sunny moments and did not need to be faster than f/4.

Seven rolls and a bit of FP4+ with the Hasselblads of landscapes and assorted nature up here in Jasper National Park. A little disheartening to see the damage the pine beetles have done since my last visit: The plague has moved southward down the Icefields Parkway as well as put in an appearance in the Maligne Valley. And the aftermath of the fall 2015 fire near Medicine Lake brings to mind some of David Hume Kennerly's Pulitzer pictures of Vietnam in 1972 (?). One of my favorite places to stop in the park has been reduced to a charred wasteland; given twenty years or so, I may return with the Hasselblads and some color film...

When it comes to forest fire damage, I try to take the long view.
Fires are a natural method of ensuring forest re-generation.
It is just that forests are a lot more patient than we are.

In the past 7-10 days, I've shot 400TX, 400TMY-2, 100TMX, Acros 100, Delta 400, HP5+, Portra 400, Ektar 100, Fuji 400H, and some Lomography CN100.

Even though I've got preferences for personal work, for paid work, I shoot what's most appropriate for the job, or the film the client requests (if they make that request).

120 Ilford XP2 Super re-spooled by me on 620 spools. One roll that I exposed in a Kodak Medalist II came out nicely. I also have a roll loaded in a 620 Brownie just to see how it comes out. When I was a youngster the long-gone family Kodak was a 620 Brownie.

Roll of Ektar through the F2AS and a well-expired roll of XP2 through the F.

Currently, the FM2n has a roll of Adox CMS 20 loaded up, the F has Ektar 100, and the F2AS has a roll of CineStill 50. I might load the second roll of CMS 20 into the Spottie.

A 620 roll of Perutz 17 in the Imperial Mark XII, and a 127 roll of Perutz 21 in the Ricoh Super 44. Both rolls expired in 1967.
