Is it worth a try to shoot Delta 3200 @ 12800/25600 and develop in xtol? Using a standard telephoto zoom in low light.

2 beers gives you 1 stop more steadiness for you hands, so have 8 beers instead of asa25600 [emoji2]

Shot a roll of Ektar 100 in my Mamiya C33.
And finished my first roll of Fuji Neopan 100 Acros. Will see how good I can get it to come out with the Ilford DD-X I have.

Went to Ocean Beach this afternoon for a decent sized block of pure fun time. No cell phone, no distractions...just wandering and photos. Inspired by Brett Weston...we'll see if any of the results are even in his "neighborhood". Souping in HC110 right now. I need to do that sort of "just shoot" thing more often.

Finished roll of Delta 100 in Pentax 6x7
Full 220 roll of TXP320 in P67
Full roll of expired Tri-X in Ikonta 532/16 (first test roll through that camera)
Finished roll of expired Tri-X in Canon 7 w/Canon 50/1.4
Full roll of Plus-X in Canon 7 w/Canon 50/1.4

Found a surprise roll of E200 in 120 format so I shot that thru a Kodak No 1 Autographic.

Also shot a roll of Konica Centuria Super 400. Set for ISO 200 due to age

Ektachrome 400 Press in the little half frame Agfa Paramat. Also some HP5+ and Tri-X in 35mm. Having fun with small negs.

All color Kodak films don't age well except for Ektar and Ektachrome. Good luck.

Portra 160 in the Mamiya m645 for Prom pictures.

My daughter's date's brother, about 22, is in some kind of photography school and he was there to take pictures, too. So, I handed him the m645 and asked him to take a picture of my daughter and I. He looked at it and said "Uh, what do I do????". Really.

And you'd probably say the same if presented with his camera.

Seriously, there is way too much snobbery on APUG.

Going back to b&w ... 35mm Ilford FP4+ expired in 1999 and an Ilford Pan400 to see if my theory is okay that freezer could uneven the negs.

Seems to me that the fact that the 22 year old is "in some kind of photography school" justifies kb3lms' comment.

I just shot a roll of 127 Kodacolor II that expired in 1984. It was never frozen or refrigerated. It worked and produced nice color photos. Developed at home in the sink at a temperature somewhere between 90 and 105* F for about 3:45.

Mostly Kodak Tri - X 400. Have been trying to use it at 1600 speed not sure if i like the results. Also not sure if I'am expecting better results then can be expected from a film pushed 2 stops.
Have bulk roll of 100 T-max that I order accidentally that I need to start shooting up.

Has anyone tried Foma films? Do they offer anything that Kodak B/W do not?

All the "22 year old" had to do was focus and push the button. I just thought it was amusing - not being a snob at all. Saw a few of the frames he shot with his late model Canon on FB and they are quite nice.

BTW, more Portra 160 for some flowers.
