What film is this?

SPGFF returned a Lomo film (which it was...I just shot it even though I'm not too terribly fond of the results) and further searching said : Shanghai GP3 . So....at least I developed it according to the dev chart, cut the D76 1:1 for 14 minutes and per the family calculations, a fixer mix of 4 oz fix to 16 oz water.

It's okay...for a contact print but I've not got anything that will handle the 6x6 or 6x9 films yet. So, I make contact prints in the meantime and keep them in an archival notebook with notes about exposure time for the contact print.

Looks fine. The Shanghai GP film is quite a good products, although the backing paper iften comes with Just Masking tape to hold it.

Your scan looks like you are in the right ballpark.

I sometimes wonder about the contact prints I make. I'm experimenting with different films in the 120 range to see which ones I like best. I've not made up my mind which I like best.

Is it cheaper to buy the Lomo or Shanghai singly?

Generally anything with a "Lomography" badge on it has been marked up significantly, and it's always possible they may switch suppliers at some point and still maintain the same branding on the film (their target market are hipsters who - generally speaking - don't care about the technical details such as what film exactly they're shooting).

Unless someone outside China/Hong Kong/Taiwan is stocking it now, the disadvantage to buying Shanghai film was it had to be bought on eBay, whereas at least the Lomo people take credit cards directly, and are not located in China in case something goes sideways with the order (legal recourse, etc).
