Now with fuji also discontinueing there films, what kind of films do you still use?

I'm starting!
Fujifilm Provia/Velvia if i get my hands on them cheap
Kodak Ektar 100
Kodak Tmax 100 - 400

I shoot both Ektar and Porta 160 and 400 along with Kodacolor 200. I shoot Tmax 400 along with Foma 200 and Ultrafine 100 and 400 I buy in 100 foot rolls.

My current films for this year are HP5+ and FP4+

Running a 120 Ultrafine Xtreme 100 on my Rolleiflex 3.5f. Lets see how it comes out.

i use either expired films ( i don't care the flavor ) so i can get whatever was made and is still made.
i also use liquid films so i coat my own stuffs and don't worry about what is and isn't available.

I ment the superia was being discontinued, lucky i still have a stock of iso 100 superia.

I was talking about films which are widely available in the stores, not expired films. However, if i can get my hands on expired slide films i never hesitate.

On the other side, looking forward to the new ektachrome

Ultrafine Xtreme 100 is a very good film for the money. I bought it to just test cameras and lenses I buy, but have absolutely no problem using it for normal work.

In 35mm I use whatever is around. With 120 and 4x5 I normally use fresh Kodak Portra, TXP, TMX and Ektar.

35mm: Portra 800, TX400, TMX, TMY and a few rolls of expired Adox and P3200.

Whew! You had me worried. As long as Fuji keeps producing Provia and Velvia, I'm good. I don't care all that much for Superia anyway. For C-41, my favorites are Kodak Portra 160 and 400. Just wish they were a little cheaper.

My favorites are Ektar 100, and Portra 400 for color negatives, Velvia 50 for slides, and TMY2, Delta 100, and Pan F Plus for B&W. Luckly they are still all available in 35mm & 120.

I use:

135: Adox 100 Silvermax
120: Ilford PanF Plus, TriX, Adox 100 CHSII (if I can get it...), Fuji RDPIII 100, Kodak Portra 400
6.5x9cm: Perutz Silbereosin, Ilford Ordinary and all the other mostly pre-war glass plates I can get. OK., thats off topic...
4x5": Kodak TMX and TMY-2, Fuji Acros 100, Fuji RDPIII 100

Films I'm missing: Kodak Kodachrome 25, Fuji RXP 400, Agfa APX 25, Agfa Portrait 160, Agfa XRS 100, Kodak HSIR.

I miss Panatomic-X in 35mm & 120. Back in the 1970's I was making beautiful 16x20's using Microdol-X. I miss Agfa CT-18 as well.

I'd bet that current 35mm T-Max 100 in Perceptol would give you less grain than 1970s Panatomic-X. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if X-Tol would do so as well (with better acutance).
One of the biggest things I notice is how much better so many of the modern films are compared to 40 years ago.

Ordered two bulks of HP5+. This will keep me busy for 12 or more months.

Mainly HP5, FP4, Efke IR, Rollei IR. Also have mish mash of other films...I miss plus-X, and Kodak IR.
