And then what, I wonder. He retired ages ago.
A quick search of Companies house shows that while he ceased to be a director of Harman in 2015, he still has another directorship. So he's still around.

Particularly when the announcement to APUG was not from the man himself. Someone from the company answers, "Oh yes, he left with the buyout, and does not work for us any more"The NDA theory makes a lot of sense to me.
Ummm, maybe you're Simon? You joined in the month following Simon's resignation from Ilford and you have your profile locked down so no one can view it.Harman might well have insisted he signs a NDA, though they cannot lawfully stop him posting about his hobby here as long as he doesn't reveal anything about Harman's operations. However, he'd likely be inundated with questions so I can see why he might stay away....or post under another name.
At least we can rest assured he's alive and we have no reason to assume he's anything other than well.
I think Simon would be a subscriber, though. Unless looking like a member is his cover.Ummm, maybe you're Simon? You joined in the month following Simon's resignation from Ilford and you have your profile locked down so no one can view it.
Glee? Is that what we're calling hallucinogens these days?I think Simon is trendland, and his retirement is full of glee!
Except that Simon sticks to the point and doesn't answer his own posts.I think Simon is trendland, and his retirement is full of glee!
