For Sale What does PM sent mean and bump?

I can not find the list anywhere.

PM = Private Message. If you click on my name 'zsas' it will allow you to send me a message inside Apug that only I would get. I guess I would consider it something like intra-Apu-email or akin


Bump - say I list a camera for sale a week ago and no one replies. I can just hit reply to my own thread and say "bump" which really means its still avail

PM sent means you sent a private message to the seller. Bump is posted to 'bump' a thread to the top of the list.

I think this thread is in the wrong forum...?

PM= Private Message.
bump= a message that is added for the purpose bringing or bumping the topic back to the top discussion list.

PM sent is a notice that the poster wants to buy the product offered.

It's a way of establishing one's place in line, if more than one person is interested.

It also advises others that the product is potentially sold, subject to confirmation by the seller.
