What does a Kodak dental film clip 149-2586 look like exactly?

I bought Summitek Cascade print and sheet film washer to use to wash 8x10 negatives. The instructions found via the internet archive says sheet film can be washed by using "Kodak 149 2586 dental film clips"

Does anyone have an image of one? I can't seem to find an image of that specific clip.

I don't know, I have that type but wanted to see if the Kodak part number is any different.

Alright, I found a quote that says basically that the Kodak part number I referenced puts a tiny point mark on the negative, same as the style I have. The reason for me asking is that the plexiglass partitions on this washer are not very far apart so I thought maybe the Kodak hanger somehow kept the negative from touching. I want to start developing, thus washing 8x10's an was concerned with the negatives touching the sides. After testing with a 4x5, I don't believe it will be an issue.

"Do a search for "8x10 film processing hangers" and you will see several different ones. When we were using film in the office we used a style that clipped the film on the four corners and hung from the sides of the processing tanks.

Ned,
The typical dental x-ray developing tanks were generally narrow and probably similar to your washer. For 8x10 I don't think you want a single small dental x-ray hanger since it will let the large film flop around. I don't know what you are using for 4x5 but the hangers I use do not clip the film. They have three channels and a flip down on the top. I think that type of hanger or the one I described above would be best.
