Never have to worry about getting lost on the Big Island - you can't miss the ocean. :D

I don't get lost. I always know where I am because: 'No matter where you go, there you are'.

Am I the only honest man here?!?!?!?!

So far I am the only one to vote that I don't ask for directions and I am male.

Sometimes I do as well, but only when my wife insists and refuses to do it herself.

I figured there was no need to do the poll because, as all men know, any man who asks for directions is obviously a eunuch! :D

My wife would answer this question differently.

Actually, I rarely get lost. I have maps. I have a GPS. And I have a wife who always knows better than I do where we are.

I'm never lost. I always know where I am.

Of course everywhere else - except or the spot where I happen to be - can sometimes be temporarily misplaced.

But lost? No - never!

Is this a second marriage for her?
We may have spent some time together.

Well I have given up on asking for directions. I got lost driving thru the Ohio countryside. After many serious threaths, some of which were much worse than death, from my compaion of over 40 years, I pulled into a farmer's yard. I asked the farmer, who was outside refueling his tractor " Can you tell me how to get to XXXXXXXXXXXXX? Being a nice and helpful man he responded "Certainly, but you can't get ther from here".

Some things in life are not worth the bother.

I usually don't get lost; I go exploring! The last time I was lost I just kept driving until I reached the Canadian border and the nice lady at the crossing told me where to go. Just love the Canadians, really friendly people you know. eh

I never go anywhere, so I don't get lost. But one of my all time favorite diversions in this world is to give directions to the lost, especially those heading south to Los Angeles. If anyone here ever accidentally took highway 1 south from Monterey to get to LA, that was me...and you're welcome.

I'm never lost. I know exactly where I'm not.
Sometimes trying to follow the directions is worse.

Lost is not necessarily geographic. For me, retired and happily learning all I can about photography as an art and photography as a mechanical thing, “LOST” is a regular stop on the daily bus route. Gratefully APUG has been an encyclopedia with personality.

I thank you all.
