Usually I carry a

[*]Vivitar ViviCam 3500 Digital camera in a black pouch belt holster.

This can change at any time and a film camera can take its place.

I usually carry my cameras in the car trunk in a couple of modified roller tool boxes. One contains my Nikon with 28mm, 50, 85, and 135mm primes, in its own bag, a Mamiya TLR, pair of Holgas and various tools and gizmos as well as extra film for the outing. The other contains my Calumet 4x5 and Commercial View 8x10 and lenses, dark cloth, filters, loupe, spot meter and film holders. If nothing else, I will leave the LF stuff at home and take the nikon or holgas in the car always.

I usually cary a Rollei 35s or a Zeiss Ikonta 6x6 folder. If space is really a problem, like when I'm out with friends and don't actually want to carry a camera with me but do anyway, it is usually a cannon elph 2 aps.

There is intentional art - I bring the biiiig kit (4x5 and ALL the stuff that goes with it) Or the portrait kit - the Rollei SL66 and collection of Zeiss Lenses // accidental art - there is a TLR in the jeep that can take good enough to frame photos if I do my job. // And then there is the quickie capture that is never intended to go bigger than 5x7 print. That would be the Contax RTS and the collection of Zeiss lenses //

Then there is where only a pocket camera will do. The Rollei 16. Zeiss Tessar (25mm) - 16mm format - adjustable focus and auto exposure with NO BATTERY. It uses quaint little flash bulbs $1 each and no longer made and is really fun to use (like James Bond) -- the Minolta 16 II is even more compact and the Rokkor lens is superb but it is fixed focus - so you get what you get. - either way - it is fun - and sometimes the grainly little suckers maker really cool images - at no bigger than 5x7. - Frank

It doesn't go to work daily, but when I feel like dragging the camera along to work, I tend to take the F + 24mm lens, sometimes with the 55micro in my pocket. Walking to the park from the house, anything from the F through the 4x5.

always in my bag is an om2n w/35mm f2 zouiko lens. i am never with out a camera feel almost naked with out it. luck if it exist mostly comes to those who are prepared how many times have you said : what agreat shot if i only had my camera! i read once that photography like any other dicipline requires practise.

ALLWAYS with me is Olympus MjuII(I am not professional photographer but MjuII(35mm, f2, spot metering) is allways in my pocket, where ever I go), from time to time Konica Auto S2(in any case I have with me, often simply under jacket or in hands), and my main camera is Canon EOS3 with 28-135mm IS, and 50mm, in Canon's bag. Very rearly I use 75-300 lens(I didn't use it for more than year, it is "bad" lens), and 420EX flash, but only when I know I MUST to use flash...

And I have Yashica MAT 124 with teleconverter 2x in "studio"...

Mainly for Olympus or Konica: colour is Fuji Superia 100 or 400(more times than 100) and for b/w Kodak T400CN.

For Canon both mentioned(but T400CN in Canon is set at 320, not 400), EFKE(from 25-400), slide(Velvia, Provia100F or whatever I can find) very rearly(in my country here is big problem with slide buying and processing).

For Yashica, Ilford Delta 100 and HP5.

I have my Bessa R w/ Leica Summitar 50mm f/2 with me most of the time though I think I may change it up and take either the M645 or the Rolleicord out with me next time.

Allmost allways a Bessa-R2 with the Color Skopar 50mm/f2.5 & Tri-X dialed in on 320. If I am up for a little extra bulk & weight I'll bring a Bronica RF645 with the 65mm f4 lens. Also with Tri-X, at 200. And ocasionally a monopod for the RF645 - for that extra sharpness. If none of the above an Olympus Mju2, also with Tri-X.

The monopod, by the way, most people perceive as a weapon. There are so many places I have been refused entry while carrying the mono... even taxi's.

I have a nice little classical looking Billingham bag for the Rangefinders... the small Hadley. A camera, a small incident-lightmeter, an extra film, cigarillos, wallet and a small notebook in something as small as a ladys purse.

Everywhere, everyday. I don't shoot everyday... but yu'll never know.

Every day I carry a mechanical rangefinder with a 35. I carry it also when I carry other camera or cameras.
Sometimes the second one is a camera for low light, and other times my Hasselblad with the 80 or with the 150, but very rarely more than two bodies with a lens each.

I carry only my genius. Yes it mangles the famous Oscar Wilde declaration to a U.S. customs officer but allows me an intro to a sudden observation, namely that this plus about 10 other threads which are "golden oldies" going back about 15 -19 years have suddenly appeared in succession which in itself is unusual

I wonder how this has come about?

For everyday walking around, an 8x11 Minox rests deep in the recesses of my pocket. Also a screw mount Leica fits comfortably in a jacket pocket. Should also mention Olympus XA and Rollei 35. If believe there is a strong possibility of a picture, then a larger rf camera. If venturing out to take pictures, anything from a Leica M, SLR, or MF camera. Fifty years ago a lot of stuff in my bag, now just one extra lense.

Good question for me. I don't usually carry a camera for two reasons. I generally focus intensely on a "project" where I take a full compliment of equipment, and the somewhat rural environment where I live these days rarely presents a random photo op like you would find in Paris or New York. But these days I've been thinking of carrying an everyday camera just in case. Perhaps a point and shoot like my old Contax TVS.
