What do u do with 120 color slides?

I only shoot B&W 120 but keep hearing about the great colors in Velvia? color slide film.
I used to shoot 35mm Kodachrome and project the slides, or get prints made.
What do u do with 120 slides? just scan them?

As the name indicates: they are made to slide into a projector.

I do not know where you are located ezwriter, but over here you find simple projectors for 70x70mm slides regularly on fleamarkets.
And new ones are still being manufactured.

I wish I could have been born a couple of decades earlier, to sample the wonderful quality of Cibachrome/Ilfochrome, especially from Kodachrome film. But it got too rare, and too expensive for me to manage on my fairly tight photography budget. So I've shot a number of rolls of slides, 35mm, 120, and 4x5. My absolute favorite was Agfa RSX 100, but I've been very fond of Fuji Astia as well. Now I generally put them on my light table and just view them. If there is one that I really enjoy I scan it, but I end up disappointed with its presence on screen or even in (eeeehgads, inkjet) prints. They are so beautiful to just look at.

+1 to Ilfochrome. Sadly, the paper is sold out, but some folks reported success with internegatives and RA4 processing.

Me too. Mostly look at them. Some I scan but only when I need the pictures for the web. I do not have a projector since these are quite expensive and mounting the slides is another cost factor. I think the great downside of slides is that it is hard to share them with other people, since there is only one original. With CN or BW you can always have another print. That´s too bad since the quality is so admirable...

I will miss Ilfochrome as well. A month ago I received my final supply of Ilfochrome materials. Afterwards, I will look into RA4, scanning or simply stop shooting color transparencies.

I just picked up a cheap projector on eBay. Now I have to buy some slide mounts.

Three packs of Cibachrome paper, with the necessary chemicals, were donated to our darkroom. Someday I'll be brave enough to try it.

Otherwise, scan, or just admire at arm's length.

Scan, project and some time soon help a couple of friends use up their Ilfochrome.
