I am reburbishing a 2/3 Busch Pressman and want to use it with sheet film. I bought a Besselar 6X9 negative carrier (for my 23C) and it is too big for the individual sheets. Does anyone have a solution for this? Am I going to have to modify a 6X7 carrier to accept the 2/3 sheet film?

Thanks heaps,
Mike

Do you have a problem with dust on the glass?

Never had much of problem with dust using the glass neg carrier. Just blow off surfaces with an air blower before inserting the neg. It is also easy to see if there is any dust specks on the glass.

They have a 23c carrier for 2 1/4x3 1/4 sheet film. The opening is smaller to hold the sheets. Mine is numbered 2434CNC as opposed to the roll film 6x9 carrier 2434 RNC. I think there are other numbers for carriers in the newer? 8xxx series. If you can find the cut film carrier it should be cheap as not many people use that size. Or just use the 23c glass carrier. I use it without any mask for the sheet film. The glass carrier is probably easier to find but will cost more.
