In the last six weeks or so I've used three of my Exakta VX's with a variety of lenses and Ektar 100. The negatives show nice density, good spacing, and they're sharp.
I'm amazed at how well these cameras from the mid-1950's function. I've never given them a CLA and the only issue I've found is capping at 1/1000 on a VX IIa, which had that issue when I bought it. Otherwise, they're all good. It's a bit of a surprise, actually, when I set it for a timed delay of 12 seconds and a five second exposure and that's precisely what I get. Amazing!
