Yes 3 rolls a day of 36 frame HP5+ is now about five and a half thousand pounds a year in the U.K and that's before any processing costs. So I'd imagine there are very few amateurs spending that much time and money on getting that many pictures these days
I was going to spend that much time and money until I realised that once the wife had thrown me out of the house for my profligacy there were very few nights warm enough or dark enough to process the film in my tin helmet near a stream and finding free chemicals in a tank-damaged Belgian chemist's shop is now near to impossible
