When I have time to smurf around the net I find that I spend more time reading photo blogs than anything else. The ones that are my favorites are quite diverse in their photographic styles which I find to be creatively stimulating.

Forums like this one are great for sharing the nuts and bolts of photography, to develop a community and share images. The downside is that over time group think begins to settle in. Not so much on APUG due to it's large membership, but some of the other smaller forums I have participated in suffer from this.

The blogs I like are not always analog centric. For me it's more about photography and expression rather than process.

So lets share some of our favorite photo blogs. Here are some of my fav's:

The Online Photographer

reciprocity-failure

thephotographypost

I have many more, but this is a good start.

I have a whole reader full of them, but there are a few standouts...

Blake Andrews' "B"
http://blakeandrews.blogspot.com/

Conscientious written by Joerg Colberg is interesting to a point. (I find I don't agree with him on much, but I keep it in my reader, because every so often there's something that gets me thinking.)

Danny Lyon writes some interesting, and deep essays, which are posted infrequently

Interesting insights into the world of commercial art galleries via Edward Winkleman's blog

Aline Smithson's blog, Lenscratch is a great resource for a lot of photography

And lastly, Daniel Milnor's blog
