Hi all,

I got my CPA-2 today, with a 2500 film drum and a couple of 2800 print drums. Also included was a couple of bags of black plastic spring pins. Some of them are just regular spring pins, and some have a triangular flange halfway along. I can't seem to find any use for them. They don't look right for mounting magnets on the tank bottoms. Do they go with the film reels somehow? {I also received 5 of the 2500 roll film reels (the older clear ones, not the current black ones), and two of the 4x5 sheet film reels (I believe these are an older model as well, since they don't have the snap-on flow pattern dealies).}

Thanks,
Jerry

They are used to separate papers in the drum. They are also used to separate film, if you develop larger films than 4x5". The "wing things" are really useful when you're developing four 5x7" slides in a 2830 tank...
