If not a light leak, it could be outside of image flare. Which lens were you using, and were you using a lens hood?
I've got the f/2 version of that lens. If I recall correctly, the f/2.8 version has a front element that isn't particularly recessed from the front of the lens body - a lens hood is a really good idea, but even if you don't have one mounted, paying attention to how the light falls on the front of the lens is always a good idea.Thanks Matt. You may very well be seeing xray damage. Try a local processing lab to check if air transport is correlated with the problem.Shipped from Sweden to US for Development and scanning, then uploaded digital from US
I agree it could also be a light leak (or rather: several ones, as they appear in different places and patterns). But I'm interested to hear why you believe these cannot be xray damage. I don't see anything that excludes this possibility.
