Digital forcing out analog.

Meaningless APUG threads.

The return of the dreaded Two Letter Troll especially under a new name.

Selfies

+1 and stupid gestures in front of paintings and sight seeing objects.

Being walked into by stupid digi-snappers looking at their selfies and reading their text messages. Do these people ever engage their brains?!?

Nothing really.

At least Ken uses film some of the time, so +1 for me, too.

Never figuring out what it is that I could say/do with it. Part of the whole "what's my purpose in life" thing.

Though my first inclinition (sp?) was to say "just vampires, mummies, and the holy ghost. These are the things that terrify me the most. Not aliens, psychopaths or MTV hosts. Just vampires, mummies, and the holy ghost."

Having a big gust of wind blow my view-camera over when I'm not looking. Happened once.

Being shot at by a land owner. Once when living in Spain had one warning shot over my head.

Dropping my favorite lens on a hard surface. I'll take the fifth on that one.

When verifying the aperture setting on the lens, completely forgetting that you are positioned at the edge of a very tall cliff. Brain fart. Drrrrr.

Getting between a herd of longhorn cattle and their favorite watering hole. It makes you run fast.

Basically I'm just a scaredy-cat.

i know what you mean though, i've decided there is no purpose to live but what you want to do, and as long as you are ok with that, its good enough --

Forgetting or deciding not to take a camera, and then meeting the Loch Ness monster, bigfoot, and Jackie Onassis all posing together in the woods. Camera jams I can sigh, and deal with.
