Federal Stow Away Jr. 6X9 31/2 Bifax double lens, waterhouse stops, a condenser model was an extra $7.50 in 1949 dollars. Mine is is a diffusion model it has a clear enlarger bulb with a frosted glass insert, not sure what the wattage is. Although somewhat soft, it does a surprising good job.

In 1949 ran $46.45 including the case shipping was extra. Going to print a set of 6X9 images, see if the soft lens brings anything to the party.

Nice that you have it working. I think diffusion head is a plus. But was it $487.70 or $46.45 in 1949?
