What 35mm camera would you recommend for the cost of a meal?

What are you folks spending for lunch in order to buy these cameras for the same price?

I find my Nikkormats (FT2 and FT3) are noisier than my Nikon F, but actually quieter than the F2 I used to have. While they are fairly loud, I do not find the noise objectionable (no "ping" or extended ringing noise, just "kerthunk")
