Hi All,

I have been experimenting with Wet Cyanotype and I see that diluted vinegar is bleaching the paper and I dont get the greens like the ones I see in other's works.
Could it be because I use the Ferric ammonium citrate Brown instead of the green?
Can someone help?

Thanks
Nithya

Can someone help me with this???
I have tried different brands of vinegar. But no difference.. It always always bleaches the paper and I am left with a plain white paper after exposure..

How much vinegar do you use? You only need to add a little to your initial wash water.
I've never used the brown citrate; I understand it requires longer exposures. Maybe you're under exposing the prints? What do they look like before they go into the wash?

I use very little vinegar.. I haven't measured it.. But let's say approximately 5ml for 25ml water.. That's the ratio.. My question is bit about adding vinegar to the rinse.. But about spritzig the paper with vinegar during wet Cyanotype.. I see from others pics that adding vinegar gives a nice greenish tinge. But for me the paper gets bleached.. And I get only a faded blue or white.
I will share some pics in some time for reference..
