I stumbled on this handheld light called "Combicolor" looking to be manufactured by WARULUX in West Germany. It appears to be an additive (two) color flashlight that mixes with ambient light for the purposes of color correction. My knowledge of color theory is pretty lacking so please take my assumptions with a grain of salt.
It has two dials near the top with colored notches -- the light color is a combination of the dial selections. The most useful thing I found while playing around with the light is using it as a white balance tool. By setting one side to white and rotating the other side a color can be found that neutralizes the ambient light.
So far my hunt for information has been pretty slim and points to this possibly being a medical instrument. The bulb is a heine xhl 2.5v which is used in Otoscopes and other handheld medical devices that need color accuracy including use as a Illumination Head for Spreadable Anal Speculum O_O.
The light comes with some accessories including two crystal looking attachments shaped to spread or focus the light.
If anyone has any speculation or knowledge of this devices please let me know. It's a curious little contraption that has got me puzzled.
Thanks
