Slowly, steadily (I won't go as far as to say "stealthily"), the Canadians are taking over here...
I'm joshing, of course. My black sense of humour (note the Canuck spelling, which my SpellCheck refuses to convert to the "missing 'o': version of the word), again surfacing.
Being one myself, (Canadian that is), or a dual national so half one and also half Aussie, I am very happy with all this. Matt is an excellent moderator, and Rachelle in hernia role will bring us the added advantage of living and photographing in two entirely different cultures, both very advanced in photography and photographics.
She will also as I recall, be travelling to Canada later this year, with some exploration in her mind and plans up in the Yukon Territory (to New Brunswick's loss), and will surely be giving us the benefit of her travels as she goes or after the big event. As a former New Brunswicker (long departed from those Atlantic shores, but still fond of my early years there and my first experiences and experiments in photography, way way back int he 1960s when everything was fresh and new and we all thought black-and-white would go on going on forever and way beyond. So your not going there will be New Brunswick's loss, and I hope you will some day visit that most interesting if sadly ignored if not outright neglected part of Canada.
So sum all this up, may I wish you the very best of everything in your new role as moderator.

Welcome Rachelle!!
May you enjoy your time here, and may you never have to deal with lengthy "Bring Kodachrome back" threads!!
Rachelle in hernia role
I hear Kodak mentioned it's coming back next year. Can't wait to shoot some and scan the negatives.
