OK, I know that I'm a SlackAss.
I thought this Group Thing was going to be easy.
And that I would be able to add some new content more often.
But, I can barely find time to take pictures, much less a Group.
I actually went out this evening to take some night shots around
Bayshore. I thought the problem was taking pictures of government
buildings. I was F'ing wrong I parked in a lot near the marina, and
got harassed because I did not see the " No Loitering After Dusk " sign.
The cop was nice about it, he explained that if there are any cars, or
people hanging out after hours, that the homeowners next door keep
calling in complaints, and then his nuggets are in the vise. Then I tried
another area near the Fire Island Ferry, and got questioned about my activities.
These cops have their hands full with a bunch of bastards that always misbehave
in that location. Why can't people use drugs at home, or engage in sexual
activity in a motel ? On the way home I stopped at the Islip train station to
photograph a boxcar. Luckily it wasn't a tanker type, or someone might have
suspected terrorism in play. The other problem I had this evening was the
Photo Tools Pro iPhone App, I paid $15.00 FUSD ( F'ing U.S. Dollars )
And I'm not really feeling the value. I'm trying not to be negative about it.
Hopefully, it will be improved with future upgrades. Hopefully ...

Hello Ron, you actually take photograps also? 'cept for the world cameras I mean?

I thought loitering here would be your biggest concern, luclily we haven't come that far on this side of the pond, although the invention of the F'ing Mobile Phone seems to be the biggest nuisance to mankind ever invented!

The poor boys that grow up these days are caught and get fined for stuff we did every day in my youth, *they* are turning them into pussycats.

As far as picturetaking goes, I had my little Minox 35 on me the other day as I spotted a bad case of parking at the local mall, a big truck, trying to unload pallets was blocking everything, of course I snapped some pictures of the event, and the driver approached with an attitude, demanding me "to erase those pictures, or else".
I pointed out that this was a public space, asked him innocently what *or else* means and walked away - its just a matter of time before *they* start calling the cops for picturetaking, and we get fined over that...... Its a sad day, it will be a sad day, people themselves are giving away the freedom our founding fathers where trying to secure on behalf of all of us!
