I got my Canon 50d converted to IR, went out and shot a good landscape, with water, clouds, trees, etc. I converted it to grayscale in CS4, then tweaked the bright and contrast, exposure, and printed it. Came out too dark, so I went back into the last image, corrected the brightness, and got some strange artifacts: a dead tree lying in the water in the foreground which was nicely dark in the first print, suddendly turned to stark white, ruining the print.

WTH is going on here?

weird printing

It was a clogged nozzle. The 3800 is new to me. I had a 2200 for a long time, never had this problem. Doing the simple nozzle clean, not the power clean, fixed it.
