Weegee's technique books

Has anyone ever seen a copy of Weegee's Creative Photography (1964)? I have a copy of his book Creative Camera (1959) coming to me through Interlibrary Loan, but the later book seems quite hard to find in a library (I'd like to see it before I buy it). Anyone have any info about the content?

I've seen it I think....they have a copy of it at the University of Delaware Library if memory serves me correctly. It's a pretty cool book...talks about the many gadgets he improvised to get some of his shots. The only thing I can clearly recall is discussion of using a prism in front of his lens so he could shoot around corners. I see it as more of a novelty and a bit of Trivia about Weegee, than an actual "Photography manual."

I'm into photo books, but even did not know that they exist. The only books of that of kind and of a photographer of that period I come across are those by Mortensen.

Check WorldCat - it will show you which library near you has a copy. Most libraries subscribe to WorldCat - just look in the database section of their website. You should be able to request it using inter-library loan, from any public library or school library that you have lending rights to...

I vaguely remember a book at our local library.

It showed Weegee's Rolleiflex in a home made sound proof casing which he used to shoot on movie sets.

I know about Worldcat - but there are no copies in my state so getting an interlibrary loan is going to be more difficult, and since I've just graduated, can no longer get ILLs through school
